To begin with, I strongly believe that a lot of people regardless the age are interested in culture and traditions. Some people think that teenagers aren't interested in this topics but I think it's quite the opposite.
There are several reasons which support my opinion. First of all, people nowadays prefer activities that are more related to leisure so this means that teenagers likes to learn new things and enjoy in special days such as Valentine's day to spend the day with your partner, spend the Christmas day with your family and exchange gifts among others.
Another reason is, apart of spending special days with your family or partner there are other traditions that teenagers likes to celebrate it as well because it's funnier and entertaining, for instance in Halloween they go to the streets dressed with an special costume typical of that special day such as vampires or ghosts, and they go house to house to ask trick or treat as the tradition is.
Finally, I consider that even if the society has changed a lot all these centuries and they are more materialistic and outgoing, the fact that most people like culture and tradition doesn't change, it remains until now and I think it's gonna be the same in the future.
To sum up, some people thinks that teenagers don't like culture and traditions because it's old and anticuate, but in fact I think that it's the opposite. Because it's tradition for years this special day is still celebrated nowadays be it teenagers, adults or old people.
